Serving Cupertino from Our Los Gatos Shop Since 1988
Cupertino is about fifteen minutes up the road from our shop in Los Gatos, and we have been making that drive since 1988. Lisa and Russell run the company, the techs on our trucks are our own crew, and a lot of our Cupertino calls start with a neighbor passing along our number.
Call the office, tell us what is going on, and we will give you a straight answer about whether it can wait for a scheduled visit or needs someone out today.

Who We Are
Simply Green is a family plumbing company, licensed and insured, CA License 943556. We have spent close to four decades working on the housing this valley actually has: slab homes, remodeled ranches, and everything in between.
Our habit is to show our work. If we camera your sewer line, you watch the footage. If we find a leak under the slab, we mark it and explain your options before anything gets opened up. You get a clear price before we start, and the bill matches it.

What Cupertino Homes Ask of a Plumber
Cupertino grew fast in the 1950s and 60s, and the houses from that era each have their own plumbing personality. The Eichlers in Fairgrove sit on concrete slabs with the pipes run through or beneath them. The cottages in Rancho Rinconada often still carry original galvanized lines. And decades of remodels have left plenty of homes with new copper spliced onto old steel. Three problems bring us to Cupertino most often.
Slab leaks
In a slab home, a pinhole in a copper line under the floor shows up as a warm spot, a water bill that jumps, or a faint hiss at the meter when everything is off. We locate the leak electronically first, then talk through the choice: open the slab at that one spot, or reroute the line overhead and leave the floor alone. Which one makes sense depends on the pipe, and we will tell you honestly.
Mixed and aging supply pipes
A house that has been remodeled twice may have three generations of pipe behind its walls. Water pressure that varies from room to room, or rusty water at one faucet only, usually points to an old galvanized section still in service. We trace the system, replace the weak stretches, and repipe the whole house when patching stops making sense.
Hard water and water heaters
Water here carries enough minerals to shorten the life of any water heater. Tanks fill with sediment and start rumbling. Tankless units scale up inside the heat exchanger and lose output. We flush and descale both kinds, and when a unit is truly at the end, we will price the replacement before it fails on you.

Questions Cupertino Homeowners Ask Us
Do you really come out to Cupertino?
Every week, and we have since 1988. The drive from our Los Gatos shop is about fifteen minutes, so same-day visits are often possible, and we run 24/7 emergency service for the calls that cannot wait.
I think my Eichler has a slab leak. Do you have to break the floor?
Not always. We pinpoint the leak electronically first. Sometimes the right move is opening the slab at that one spot. Often it is smarter to reroute the line overhead and abandon the section under the concrete. We lay out both options with prices before any work starts.
Why is water pressure different in different parts of my house?
In remodeled homes it is usually an old galvanized section that never got replaced. The pipe narrows inside as it rusts, and the rooms it feeds starve. We trace where the old pipe hides and give you a plan to fix the weak stretch or repipe it all.
Does hard water hurt a tankless water heater?
Yes. Scale builds up inside the heat exchanger and the unit slowly loses hot water output. An annual descaling flush keeps it healthy. If yours has never been flushed, that is the first thing to try before assuming it needs replacement.
